Blastworks hiring process

Here’s how we hire. The steps below are our usual flow, though they can flex depending on the role. Your recruiter or hiring manager will keep you in the loop throughout. If you’re unsure about anything, just ask.

1

Each application is carefully reviewed by our hiring team. If your qualifications align with any of our open positions, we will reach out to you.

2

We will begin by scheduling a call with a member of our hiring team to learn more about your experience. It’s also a great opportunity for you to ask us any questions you may have. For certain roles, there may be an additional virtual interview or a brief take-home assignment to help us evaluate your skills.

3

Finally, we will meet in person. You will spend time with more of the team and gain a clearer sense of how we collaborate.

4

Once the interview process is complete, our hiring team evaluates all candidates. We value your time and will follow up with a decision as soon as possible.

Senior Product Manager (Games / Live Ops)
Onsite Victoria, BC

Department: Product

Location: Victoria, BC

Employment type: Full-Time

Experience Level: Senior

About this role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who builds and ships games—onsite, with the team. This is a hands-on, game-first product role for someone who thrives being embedded with designers, engineers, QA, and live-ops. You will own one or more live, revenue-generating mobile/social casino games, with direct accountability for what ships, how it performs, and how it evolves in production. We believe great game product work happens in the room—whiteboarding loops, reviewing builds, reacting to live data, and making fast calls together. This role is onsite by design, not by exception. You will lead a small product pod (Game Design, Data Analytics, and potentially a third role), while remaining a senior individual contributor with real ownership. If your background is primarily SaaS, remote-only product orgs, or process-heavy environments, this role is unlikely to be a fit. Read More
